saturday: 23 June 2007
11.00: Went for NUS for a admission talk today. A place that I am not familiar with and a palce where you dun have any friend yet. And going to survive there for the next 4 or more yrs. Sitting at the back of the lecture theater waiting for the talk to start, dun know what will happen next. Curious who will be seating next to be later and are we going to in the same course. Cos it was a combined talk for both Architecture and Industrial Design. When it will end? Cos i meeting my sis after that.

11.30: In the end, a Indian girl sat a seat away from me. Leaving a seat in between us. So I decided to be more friendly a bit and shift sitting next to her. Although a bit awarkard, but then after all still not bad. She graduated from JC and she is very friendly, but then we dun have much topic to talk about. Cos both of us are shy? At least I make my 1st step and I got to know my 1st friend in NUS, her name is Shou in short.

12.05: The talk was all about how to survive in Architecture, the essential items needed during the 1st day of sch. As I have most of the equipments that we bought from poly, they are useful after all. I din order the Matric Pack items which cost $92. There are other activties held like the Freshman Orientation Camp, Flag and Rag Day, and the Istana Project. Although all sound so appeal to me, I am very keen in joining the Freshman Orientation Camp, where I can make friends from there and have fun. I also did sign up for the Flag and Rag Day, but then all these will going to happen on July. I still have commiment toward my work. Some more is just after fair, the most busiest of the time. Later I going to talk to my bosses and see what they say. Pray hard hard.

1.15: We went walking around the studio and areas which I going to appear most frequent. To be familiarize with the place, they brought us to quite a number of places that I cant really remember where the hell am I. The models and works that they produced were so fine and detail. I really need to brush up my skill.

1.50: The event lasted 3 hr and ended near 2pm. Shou and I took mrt, she went hm and I went to meet my sister. She needed to buy white shirts for her commencement. In the end we also bought a belt. And we realised we actually in need some coloured T-shirts in future.

5.00: Meet [people] after meeting my sister. We went to KFC and [people] wanted to try out the new Miso flavour chicken. 3 days in a row I am eating KFC. But still ok...
After eating, we thought of catching a movie, but then Shrek 3 is not on screen anymore, a bit disappointed. So we went to esplande for a walk.

6.30: On the same time, NDP preview was going on. Standing along the whole stretch of Marina Bay can actually see what going on, on the parade ground but that as we are standing too far, so everything seem so small. This year, there was some water activities involved.

8.10: In the end we stood there for the whole event and saw the fireworks. 1st time, looking the the fireworks so near and clear. SO beautiful and nice. Too bad, din have any camera with us. Or I will share the photos with you all. Surprisingly, my watch stopped at the moment the fireworks started.

8.30: Went to walk along One Fullerton, Saw some nice place for chilled out at night. Maybe can go there some days.

9.15: After sending [people] to the MRT. Went to Meet Dalp, Salley, Jac to CHIJMES for a drink after their fair. Salley's friend went along too. Got to know a new friend again. We went to Table 108. A ncie and cosy place.

12.50 am: Getting tired. Feeling sticky after being out for the whole day. Took a cab hm.

1.30am: Took a hot bath and went to sleep.

Although, spending the whole day outside, feeling tired, travel around meeting people, but it was a fun and happening day. Hoping that I can have more than 24 hr a day.
