At World's End
![]() In the follow-up to PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST, we find our heroes Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) allied with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in a desperate quest to free Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from his mind-bending trap in Davy Jones' locker - while the terrifying ghost ship, The Flying Dutchman and Davy Jones, under the control of the East India Trading Company, wreaks havoc across the Seven Seas. Navigating through treachery, betrayal and wild waters, they must forge their way to exotic Singapore and confront the cunning Chinese Pirate Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat). Maybe some of you may be like me, doesn’t know what was it all about at first, with those very confusing dialog between those actors and actresses. But one thing that you can be sure of, it’s that those Visual, the Acting, and Story lines. It a stunning and great movie of all time. Lots of funny scene and Jack sparrow still as funny as usual. Therefore the movie wun be so dry and draggy. The show is in detail and not like leaving people wonder what happen. Great acting by the actors and actresses. Effects are great especially the whirl pool battle. Overall it's a good movie and worth sitting there for nearly 3 hours. What was funny is that Will proposed to Elizabeth in battle and they got married then...but the saddest thing is that they could only be together for one day once every ten yrs. (so sad)...There are shorts after the credit but the shorts might means no part 4 as it's like they live happily even though Will and Elizabeth only can meet once in 10 years. Anyway the credits is very very long, so you can choose not to watch it as it's just nothing much. Next target movie will be Sherk 3. After the movie session, we went to Fish and Co at the Glass House for dinner. Too bad we din have the chance to sit at the upper mezzanine level of the house. But our given seats were not too bad either. To my surprise, they catered live band performance. So you can enjoy listening to music while eating. But I wonder how many people actually listen to what they were singing as they are all busying talking. We ordered seafood platter for two, but I think the portion actually enough for three. We didn’t manage to eat finish. The service was great. The waiter and waitress are so friendly, and very prompt in their service. I felt so worth paying the service charge. Just reached home, so tired. But waiting for the hair to dry... |
