Been busy this few days - Chinese New Year, preparing application for admission to university and doing model. This Chinese New Year is quite boring, nothing much to do. I was a bit disappointing that we can’t visit my popo’s house this year; just can stay at my grandfather house watching TV programs. At least, I went out with my cousins to marina square there walk walk or I will be bored and eat none stop at my grandfather place. The 2nd day of New Year morning: stayed home and doing my model. But the speed I am cutting is damn slow. For the whole day, I jus manage to cut finish 1/ 12 of the arches for the x-museum. Afternoon, I and my sis went to river Ang Bao to walk walk and on the way took some videos for my application to ADM. In the end, the video was a messy and I retook it this morning with the help of my sis and bro. really very thanks you all for the help and I really appreciated it. And I also would like to thank and say sorry to my buddies – Dalp and Vino for waiting for me at Boon Lay Mrt for 1 hr. without them, I think I will have difficult time looking for the admission block at Ntu and get lost. Finally submitted the application forms for both university, and now what I can do is to wait for the results. Let pray hard hard that one of the university will accept me cos the chance of getting in is like 1/1000000….. so little. After submitting the application, I went to meet [people] and catch a movie ‘Protégé at The Cathay. The Undercover officer Nick (Daniel Wu) had spent the last eight years penetrating into the core of a drug sales ring working his way up from a street dealer post to the managerial position handling cargo deliveries for Jong (Andy Lau) - the biggest player in the local heroin market. When the ailing Jong makes Nick his protégé, Nick could not but sway before money and power and starts to perform his role like a real drug trafficker. This, together with his affair with heroin-addict Jane (Zhang Jingchu), causes Nick to becomes more and more confused about his true identity, and eventually leads to a disastrous end. Based on materials provided by retired undercover agents of the police force, "Protégé" attempts to realistically tell the story of undercover agents in the clandestine drug world, who struggle to constantly walk on the fine line between justice and crime, but who will never see the day of serving in the regular police force. The movie start at 5pm and lasted for about 2hr. Quite interesting, still not bad. I think is still worthy the money to watch this movie. Out of 5 stars, I gave 4 stars. After that we ate our dinner at S11 and went home after that. Too tired, got to rest early now.
